National Alpaca Day @ The Alpaca Loom

National Alpaca Day

* 2019 dates not yet confirmed * Alpacas produced the golden fleece of the Incas. Once upon a time it was said that alpaca fiber was weighed up in gold, and clothes made from it were only worn by royalty. Nowadays, it is most famous for it’s cuddly looks and loved by young and old alike. However, there is a great future for alpacas in agriculture as commercial fiber producers, too.

Join us for National Alpaca Day and celebrate with us the beauty of alpacas!

Alpacas galore, spinning and weaving demonstrations, coffee & cake, petting zoo & jungle gym for the kids and an Alpaca Barn Tour where you meet the latest babies up close – What else do you need to make National Alpaca Day a perfect day?

Our Special for National Alpaca Weekend only:
Alpaca Barn Tours every hour on the hour @ R20 per person
Open from 10:00 – 18:00
