* 2018 dates not yet confirmed * Escape From Your Winter Cocoon – Springtime is Sauvignon Blanc time!!! Join us for Sauvignon … sway to the sounds of jazz and a zesty white …. sip award-winning beauties and sing-along to classics. The Durbanville Wine Valley signals the start of white wine season with a jubilant weekend long celebration of extreme fun. So sip into something white and indulge in Spring with us. Here’s how to go about it: Match fun with family and friends on wine farms in the picturesque Durbanville area …. all blending beautifully with the region’s signature style Sauvignon Blancs.

A mere 20 minutes drive from Cape Town, this wine route is fast becoming Cape Town’s destination of choice with its scenic vineyards, award-winning wines and friendly atmosphere. The festival is the perfect opportunity for friends and families to gather and enjoy the Valley’s renowned wines, a variety of delicious gourmet food and live music. Supervised children’s activities at each farm will ensure that the little ones are safe and entertained.

The Durbanville Valley tasting, which features all of the Valley’s excellent Sauvignon Blanc’s, will be available at each of the participating wineries. This has always been a festival favourite and gives festival goers the chance to enjoy the different styles of Sauvignon Blanc produced in the Valley. The Durbanville winemakers are united in their passion to reflect the Durbanville terroir in all their wines. The result is a magnificent range of intense, fruit-driven yet elegant wines, as different from each other as the slopes that create them and the individual personalities who craft them.
